Acrylic on canvas

2026

This piece expresses the relief from inner turmoil from the emotional tides of the black experience. The artist uses color and movement as representation of the alchemical process of hardship. The subject in the center is made new and even transformed by the things that he has survived. He dreams of thriving and not just making it through.
